Discover Oslo with Nordic Freedom Tours, the original free walking tour led by local guides. Every day we meet by the iconic bronze Tiger Statue at Jernbanetorget, directly outside Oslo Central Station, and set off on an easy 2-hour walk through the city.
This tour is ideal for first-time visitors and curious travelers. You’ll see key landmarks as well as lesser-known spots, while learning about Norway’s history, modern Oslo, and everyday local life. The tour is delivered in clear, natural English, with stories, light humor, and practical tips to help you enjoy your stay.

Important Information
The tour operates on a mandatory tip-based system. The walk is free to join, but all participants must leave a minimum tip at the end. Payment is accepted by bank card or mobile payment. Cash is accepted only in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and only as an exception.
Organized groups of more than 6 people are not allowed.
Who Can Join
The tour is designed for adults. It is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs due to stairs and uneven terrain. Smoking, pets, and video recording are not allowed. Bookings are limited to a maximum of 6 people. Group and agency bookings are not accepted.
